This role is a key operational role within the global supply chain planning team, responsible for ensuring supply continuity, inventory optimisation, and cross-functional alignment across multiple global brands. This role requires a proactive, analytical, and collaborative professional who can translate strategic supply chain objectives into actionable plans and drive execution with precision.
Lead the tracking and management of open purchase orders and production schedules in coordination with the External Manufacturing team. Maintain and update IT systems, open PO trackers, and production schedule trackers. Analyse the impact of schedule changes, implement mitigation plans, and escalate issues as needed.
Provide accurate forecasts and purchase orders to suppliers and internal stakeholders in line with contractual obligations and internal planning processes. Monitor supplier performance and ensure alignment with production and delivery timelines.
Utilising a collaborative and consensus building approach with stakeholders to understand and plan Balance global demand with supply for finished goods across all brands, ensuring continuity and cost efficiency. Manage inventory levels to minimise obsolescence while maintaining service levels and stock thresholds.
Engage with cross-functional teams using a collaborative and consensus-driven approach to understand demand drivers and supply constraints.
Partner with the wider supply chain team to translate strategic initiatives into operational plans, including product launches and manufacturing projects.
Work closely with the Demand Manager to manage market replenishment and support successful new market introductions.
Own weekly inventory reporting, including months-on-hand analysis and identification of anomalies, obsolescence risks, and supply opportunities.
Provide inventory movement data to support month-end and year-end financial reporting in compliance with audit requirements.
Identify, track, and plan for artwork component changes to ensure timely compliance with regulatory implementation requirements.
Act as the supply chain point of contact for assigned products and provide coverage for the Strategic Supply Chain Manager as needed.
Requirements
Educational Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field. APICS, CSCP, or equivalent certification preferred.
Professional Work Experience Requirements
· Extensive experience of Supply Chain Planning within Life Sciences or related industry.
· Qualified candidates will have knowledge of end-to-end Supply Chain Planning concepts and best practices.
Experience and Skills
· Strong process and systems knowledge
· Specific experience in the areas of Supply Planning, Materials Management, Inventory Management and Sales and Operations Planning
· Strong data analysis, data management and quantitative skills
· Strong skills in Excel and PowerBi or similar analytical tools
· Working within an ERP or planning system environment is desirable
