As an L2 Technical Support Engineer you will play a pivotal part in shaping the reliability and efficiency of our services, working closely with a team of dedicated professionals committed to excellence. Your expertise and proactive approach will be instrumental in driving Aevi’s continued success and technological advancement.

What you'll be doing:

    • Setting best practices for efficiently troubleshooting and triaging complex issues.
    • Leading continuous improvement initiatives to reduce unnecessary workload.
    • Swiftly mitigating site issues to ensure stable operations.
    • Overseeing our production environment with a data-driven approach for system health.
    • Developing standards to measure and optimize performance KPIs.
    • Designing proactive solutions for improved system reliability and availability.
    • Collaborating on Technology Improvement Plans for better architectural understanding.
    • Driving mentoring programs within Product Development teams, utilizing your insights into the production environment.

We would like to see:

    • 3-5 years of experience in DevOps/SRE roles, specifically within AWS environments.
    • Proven ability to drive incident mitigation in critical production environments.
    • Commitment to customer-centric decision-making.
    • Demonstrated experience with tools like GIT, Grafana, Bitbucket, WildFly, Java, Docker, and Zabbix.
    • Practical programming skills in Python and Bash scripting.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Experience in knowledge sharing through workshops, SOPs, and runbooks.
    • Fluency in English.

    • Nice to have:
    • Payment industry experience, particularly in client-facing roles.
    • Knowledge of TCP/IP networking.
    • Familiarity with SQL/Aurora.
    • Android application knowledge.
    • Linux Administration skills.
