Aevi are growing and we are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our Professional Services in the US to help deliver our innovative products into our clients businesses.
Your day to day will be spent gathering requirements from our high profile customer base, system analysis and specification for product development and project related activities as well as being heavily involved in business process change. This is a key technical role for Aevi and we are looking for a confident communicator who can facilitate workshops and user meetings and translate complex data and information into business requirements, highlighting the commercial, financial and systems implications of the output. We would love to speak to people with experience in application development, enterprise/technology architecture or QA/Testing .
What you'll be doing: Business Analyst
- Play an integration advisory role, guiding the clients in its choices, to extract the maximum value from our product, with the minimum efforts
- Gain a detailed understanding of the customer’s current business processes, solutions and supporting IT environment, including drivers for change
- Ability to conduct a gap analysis with proper data gathering, including facilitating user meetings and workshops
- Ensure all ‘stakeholders’ are identified and sufficiently involved
- Prepare the business requirements documentation
- Challenge, shape and clarify business requirements, particularly highlighting commercial, financial and IT systems implications of requirements and preparing all relevant documentation
- To support the ‘hand over’ to systems analysis and development, including knowledge transfer and personal assistance during the transition and early development phase
- Helping the business stakeholders envision the future and how their work will need to change to support the future
The successful Aevi'ator: Business Analyst
- Proven experience of working as a PS Business Analyst operating in a complex business and technical environment
- Experience of working in a technology supplier organisation (ideally Payment services)
- Demonstrable ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Demonstrable analysis and problem solving skills with an ability to critically review data/information
- Experience of delivering solutions from inception to implementation
- Experience of applying configuration changes to application systems to satisfy requirements
- To be able to work with independently as well as collaboratively
- The ability to motivate others and lead change
- Proven experience in functional analysis and design in the domain of business process modelling
- The ability to work under pressure on multiple projects within your project timeframes
- A passion for creating solutions with a positive attitude to change
- To identify opportunities to drive down the cost of delivery and participate in the design and implementation of specific programmes to implement these cost reductions
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to talk to and present to a range of audiences, sometimes acting as a translator between parties
- Excellent analytical skills and an informed, evidence-based approach
- Experience with all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle
