As a QA Engineer, you’ll work in a team of skilled testers to ensure our solution is reliable and high-quality. You’ll be
responsible for writing and/or executing test cases (manual and/or automated), reporting any issues or ideas for
improvement and reporting the results.
Your role involves testing different payment solutions such as:
· Payment application on physical terminals: You’ll actively test physical payment terminals using test cards
and apply EMV standards, including those for Europay, Mastercard, and Visa.
· Mobile POS (SoftPOS): You'll assess mobile point-of-sale apps to make sure they securely and reliably
handle payments.
· Payment Gateways: It’s important to check integration and how payment gateway solutions function.
You will be using following tools:
· Jira – For tracking issues and managing tests
· Confluence – To share documentation and knowledge
· Practitest – For managing test cases and reports
· Postman – Used for API validation and testing
· GitHub – Handles version control and collaborative work
· AWS – Provides cloud-based environments and testing infrastructure
Knowing how to use these tools is helpful, but support and training will be available to help you learn them as part
of your everyday tasks.
Key responsibilities:
- Execute manual and automated tests: Run functional and regression tests, verify results, and report issues promptly.
- Design and maintain test cases: Create clear test cases from requirements and keep them updated as features evolve.
- Collaborate with developers and QA team: Work with team members to clarify requirements, share feedback, and align on quality goals.
- Report defects and provide clear documentation: Log defects with detailed steps and maintain accurate test reports for transparency.
- Possibility to contribute to test automation and CI/CD integration: Help build and maintain automated tests and integrate them into pipelines for faster feedback.
- Possibility to support non-functional testing (performance, security): Assist in running performance and security tests, analyse results, and report findings.
We would love to see:
- Skills:
- You are familiar with testing fundamentals, you know how to design test, how to run test, how to report issue.
- You have good English comprehension and writing skills and at least basic speaking ability for team communication.
- You are a clear communicator, able to share findings effectively.
- You are good at problem-solving, identifying issues and suggesting solutions.
- You are adaptable, staying calm and organized when priorities change.
- You are interested in test automation
- It’s a plus if you understand how digital payments work.
- It’s a plus if you have any experience with any of the following: NFT, automation, API, mobile apps testing,
- Qualification:
- A testing certification like ISTQB (foundation level) is welcomed.
- Experience:
- Any previous experience in field of software testing is welcomed.
