AEVI is looking for an SysOps Administrator L2 to join a growing and fun team based in the US.

The Role

We are looking for an established SysOps Administrator with a background in payments to join Aevi in our current expansion plans.

In this role of SysOps Administrator L2, you will be the be part of a small cross-functional team who manage all requests from a small number of clients, your primary objective will be to manage those client requests in a timely and effective manner.

For the role SysOps Administrator L2, we are looking to hear from potential Aevi'ators who will be able to solve most technical issues with the help of your team, and be able to help and coach others to do the same. You will be a confident communicator who is equally comfortable communicating to both internal technical teams and external stakeholders and customers.

What you'll be doing: SysOps Administrator L2

    • Ongoing maintenance of payment processing applications for a set of clients
    • Managing the client requests queues (in Jira) & coordination of response.
    • Technical troubleshooting and root cause analysis
    • Participation in continuous improvements
    • From time to time mentoring new team members

The successful Aevi'ator: SysOps Administrator L2

    • You will ideally be certified AWS SysOps as a minimum
    • TCP/IP networking knowledge
    • SQL / Aurora
    • Android applications
    • GIT, Bitbucket, WildFly, Java, Docker, Zabbix, Newrelic
    • Linux Administration skills are a big plus
    • The ideal candidate will be experienced in client facing roles and in the payment industry
    • English fluency is required, other languages are beneficial
