In this vital role, you'll be at the heart of delivering comprehensive testing services. Whether it's a major strategic program, core product testing, or a development/upgrade project, your expertise will make a significant impact.
As a Senior Test Analyst, you'll have the autonomy to manage complex testing activities, ensuring everything runs smoothly. Not just that, you'll have the opportunity to lead as a test expert on larger programs. Your daily routine may include engaging with clients, managing tests, and overseeing smaller projects.
You'll also lead and inspire smaller specialized test teams, craft detailed test plans that align with project goals, and provide invaluable mentorship and training to other team members.
We're looking for someone who's not only skilled in their field but also enjoys sharing knowledge and guiding others. As a Senior Test Analyst with us, you'll be a key player in our team, making sure our software meets the highest standards.

Main responsibilities:
- Estimate Testing Effort: Assess and provide time estimates for testing tasks within assigned projects.
- Design End-to-End Test Approaches: Develop comprehensive testing strategies for IT programs and projects, focusing on risk management.
- Craft Test Plans and Scripts: Create detailed test plans, cases, and scripts, including desired outcomes for various scenarios and systems.
- Prepare Test Environment: Generate test data and specify the requirements for the testing environment.
- Enhance Technical Knowledge: Actively contribute to and use the team’s knowledge base, while developing an understanding of business/customer needs.
- Facilitate Software Handover: Assist in the transition of new software to the customer environment, including knowledge transfer and initial support.
- Implement Test Automation: Develop and maintain automated testing tools and frameworks, ensuring they are current and feature-rich.
- Collaborate and Communicate: Work closely with team members to understand requirements for more effective test scripting, and participate in customer meetings to represent the QA function.
We'd Love to See:
- ISTQB and More: Advanced ISTQB certification or something similar? That's a great start!
- Educational Foundation: Got a degree in computer science or a related field? Perfect.
- Understanding the Payment World: If you know how cashless payments flow or have insights into the world of apps and app stores, you're speaking our language.
- Lifecycle Expertise: Knowledge of the software development lifecycle? We value that!
- Real-World Experience: Have you worked with payment processing applications, thrived in agile environments, or navigated AWS or similar cloud services? Tell us more!
- Tools of the Trade: If you're familiar with tools and methodologies specific to testing (think cloud services, Agile, automation tools, database queries, EMV, etc.), you're the kind of person we're looking for.
- Automation Enthusiast: Experience in using or managing automated testing tools and simulators? That's a skill we admire.
