The role: Project Manager

AEVI are super excited to be hiring for a Project Manager to to come on board and help AEVI change the future of payments.  The role of Project Manager is a key hire for AEVI and we are looking for someone with payments experience to lead the delivery of a project (or a combination of smaller projects) for our customers (external or internal) and help AEVI continue to grow and expand. 

This role involves accountability for significant levels of revenue, profit and growth to AEVI and as such we are looking for established, forward thinking Project Managers with experience of delivering their projects on time and with great stakeholder management skills to help them bring people with them on their journey

The project manager’s responsibility will be to successfully manage the project from project inception to handover to BAU including management of all project components across the AEVI business including management of project financials.

Project Manager: What you'll be doing

    • Project establishment - Definition of the end to end project including all required documentation which will be kept updated throughout the project lifecycle
    • Scheduling and management of all project activities, including the detailed delivery schedules, resource plan, project milestones, dependencies, acceptance criteria, quality criteria, commercial parameters and management of sub-contractors / partners (as required)
    • Establish and agree on robust acceptance criteria for each element of the project, and its individual streams, which can be used to measure project performance ensuring appropriate levels of the customer ‘sign off’
    • Manage project performance against the agreed plan and initiate ‘remedial’ action as required
    • Ensure appropriate and timely project reporting and escalation (internally and to the customer)
    • Ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction throughout the project life cycle
    • Ensure the project is managed in accordance with the AEVI project management methodology in relation to planning, control, reporting, documentation, quality, risk analysis and management and change control
    • Project Budgets/revenue are managed / Assist with the production of accurate financial forecasting of the performance of the project
    • Management of all resources assigned to the project to ensure high levels of performance
    • Set and agree on objectives for the project team to ensure achievement of results and focus and motivation of staff. To monitor performance against targets on a regular basis; taking remedial action as necessary

Project Manager: The successful AEVI'ator

    • Demonstrable Project management experience, ideally from within Payments or Banking
    • Full project lifecycle experience 
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
    • Knowledge of Certification process
    • Fluent in English, Italian (it would be great if you could speak French too)
    • Project Management qualification
