The IT/Business Analyst will undertake requirements gathering, system analysis and specifications analysis for project related activities. The role will also undertake a range of activities related to business change (including the change to systems, solutions, and processes), defining and analysing business requirements, determining solution options, and documentation. Additionally, the IT/Business Analyst will support systems analysis, development, testing, and, on occasion, production support activities. The role is customer facing and the Business Analyst should have advanced presentation and negotiation skills.

Key responsibilities

    • Play an integration advisory role, guiding clients to extract maximum value from platform products with minimal effort.
    • Responsible for the functional design of technical payment solutions, including the integration of external systems into the IT environment.
    • Prepare business requirements documentation.
    • Challenge, shape, and clarify business requirements, particularly highlighting commercial, financial, and IT systems implications.
    • Analyze confirmed business requirements and any additional or alternative requirements.
    • Define and document confirmed business requirements, including business process mapping, data modeling, and financial analysis.
    • Facilitate the negotiation of requirements among multiple stakeholders.
    • Provide ad hoc assistance during the project execution phase.
    • Assist with systems analysis, design, development, and testing activities, as required, and define the solution.
    • Support the handover to systems analysis and development, including knowledge transfer and personal assistance during the transition and early development phase.
    • Help business and project stakeholders envision future changes and adapt their work accordingly.
    • Use expertise to assist with systems analysis, design, and testing activities, and define the solution.
    • Provide ad hoc assistance to production, pilot, or certification support.

Required Skills and Experience:

    • Enthusiasm for your work and willingness to learn within a complex card payment domain.
    • Demonstrable ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in English and Czech.
    • Strong analysis and problem-solving skills with the ability to critically review data/information.
    • Experience facilitating workshops with a range of customers/users.
    • Proven experience delivering solutions from inception to implementation.
    • Experience applying configuration changes to application systems to satisfy requirements.
    • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
    • Ability to motivate others and lead change.
    • Proven experience in functional analysis and design in business process modeling.
    • Ability to work under pressure on multiple projects within project timeframes.
    • Passion for creating solutions with a positive attitude towards change.
    • Ability to identify opportunities to reduce delivery costs and participate in designing and implementing programs for cost reduction.
    • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present to a range of audiences and act as a translator between parties.
    • Excellent analytical skills and an informed, evidence-based approach.
