Forward Deployed AI Consultant

As a Consultant at ADAPTOVATE, you will work directly with clients to understand complex business problems, analyse what is really happening, build and test practical solutions, and help turn those solutions into measurable business outcomes.
We are looking for someone with a builder mindset, strong consulting capability and good business judgement — someone who is comfortable moving between business problems, technology, client conversations and implementation.
This is not a role where the work stops at recommendations. You will help clients move from problem to solution, and from solution to real transformation.
What will you be doing?
- Work directly with clients to understand complex business problems and identify where AI can create meaningful value
- Structure ambiguous problems, analyse data, processes and ways of working, and turn insights into clear actions
- Translate business priorities into practical AI use cases, solution concepts and implementation plans
- Design, build and test AI-enabled solutions, prototypes, workflows and process improvements with client teams
- Test solutions with users, gather feedback and improve them quickly
- Help move successful solutions from prototype through implementation, adoption and scaling
- Work across business and technical teams to ensure solutions are practical, relevant and fit within the client environment
- Lead or own project workstreams, including activities, milestones, risks and client deliverables
- Facilitate workshops and working sessions to solve problems, align stakeholders and move decisions forward
- Translate technical ideas and trade-offs into clear business language
- Measure whether solutions are creating meaningful business value
- Help clients embed new AI-enabled ways of working and drive broader business transformation
- Build trusted relationships with clients and contribute to coaching, capability building and successful change
- Bring practical experience with Generative AI, Agentic AI and emerging technologies into client conversations
What ADAPTOVATE is looking for?

We are looking for someone who combines problem-solving, client capability, business understanding and a willingness to get hands-on.
You will typically have 5+ years of relevant professional experience, with strong client delivery experience across areas such as:
- Technology or digital consulting
- AI, data or product-related roles with strong business and client exposure
- Business or technology transformation
- Management consulting with strong exposure to AI, technology or solution delivery
- Process improvement, operating model or operational transformation
You should also demonstrate:
- Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills
- The ability to understand complex business problems and turn them into practical solutions
- A builder mindset with a willingness to develop, test and improve solutions rather than stopping at recommendations
- Practical experience using AI or technology to solve real business problems
- The ability to connect AI and technology to measurable business outcomes
- Strong client-facing and stakeholder-management skills
- Experience owning or leading consulting workstreams and client deliverables
- Strong workshop facilitation and communication skills
- The ability to work effectively across both business and technical stakeholders
- The ability to translate technical ideas into clear business language
- Experience supporting implementation, adoption and broader business transformation
- Comfort coaching client teams and helping them change how they work
- Ownership, commercial curiosity and comfort working in fast-moving and ambiguous environments
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Technology or a related field
- Willingness to travel as required
