As a Bid Manager at ADAPTOVATE you will oversee procurement strategy for government contracts in North America. From pre-RFP initiatives to submission and follow-up, you'll lead the entire bidding process, ensuring compliance and strategic alignment. The Bid Manager will be involved in numerous bid responses and projects aimed at promoting ADAPTOVATE and winning new business and/or maintaining current opportunities. This role significantly impacts the company's success and growth. Role may be leveled as a coordinator or manager grade commensurate with experience. The position will be based in Toronto, offering hybrid working arrangements.

What will you be doing?

    • Lead and Innovate: Direct the entire lifecycle of bidding processes from opportunity identification through to submission and follow-up. You will implement strategic approaches to manage and streamline the RFP process, enhancing ADAPTOVATE's capabilities in securing government projects.
    • Strategic Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with senior partners to vet opportunities, prepare bids, and engage potential partners. You will spearhead the scheduling of kickoff meetings with RFP teams, manage compliance checks, and ensure all submissions are aligned with government standards and ADAPTOVATE’s strategic goals.
    • Operational Excellence and Relationship Management: Maintain ongoing communications with government agencies and stakeholders to secure insights that inform the bidding strategy. Manage the submission timelines, documentation, and follow-up activities to ensure comprehensive and competitive proposals.

What we’re looking for

    • Expertise in Government Procurement: Demonstrated success in managing and winning government RFPs, with a strong grasp of the procurement landscape, including regulatory and legal frameworks in North America. We are looking for Candidates with pre-RFP experience.
    • Strategic Project Management: Proven ability to lead projects from conception through to completion, applying meticulous attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously.
    • Advanced Analytical and Research Skills: Capability to conduct in-depth market and competitive research, translating complex data into actionable strategies.
    • Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, adept at crafting persuasive proposals and engaging effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
    • Adaptive and Consultative Approach: Consulting mindset characterized by a structured and strategic approach to problem-solving, with a relentless drive for impact.
