Project Administrator

Ottawa
Government Support /
Contract /
Hybrid
We are looking for two experienced Project Administrators for a federal government contract. This is a long-term engagement (24 months with a 12-month option). Work is primarily remote with occasional presence in Ottawa.

What you will be doing

  • Financial tracking in SAP
  • Maintaining project records
  • Liaising with vendors and stakeholders
  • Coordinating documentation
  • Managing incoming requests through a ticket system

What we are looking for

  • 10+ years as a Project Administrator, with clear month and year dates on your CV for every role
  • 6+ projects in the last 5 years providing project administration services, including client/stakeholder liaison, change request tracking, and entering financial commitments and expenditures into a project budget — at least one on an IM/IT project
  • 5+ projects above $1M, each at least 4 months long, involving status reporting, management communication, and time-sensitive requirements
  • 3+ years hands-on SAP experience within the last 6 years — creating POs, entering financial data. A skills list is not enough; your project descriptions need to show what you did and when.
  • 2+ years using BMC Remedy or equivalent for contract request management, within the last 5 years
  • College diploma or higher — you must be able to provide a copy of your credential
  • A relevant professional certification (PMP, CAPM, CPPB, or equivalent) is a strong asset
  • Prior federal government experience is a strong asset
  • Eligible for a federal security clearance — holding an active clearance is a strong advantage but not required to apply
