Acrolinx helps the world’s greatest brands to create amazing content. Built on an advanced Al engine, Acrolinx is the only software platform that can actually “read” your content and guide writers to make it better. That’s why companies like Adobe, Boeing, Google, and Philips use Acrolinx to create content that’s more engaging, enjoyable, and impactful.

We’re looking for a generally nice and clever person to join our cloud platform team in Berlin.

You and Your Role

    • You like building operable and observable systems and have an automation first mindset.
    • You have experience running applications in a public cloud and/or a k8s cluster.
    • You communicate well and work with people on a variety of topics and across teams.
    • You like to share your knowledge with your teammates.
    • You choose the developing tools and computer environment that you’re most comfortable with.
    • You’re not afraid of asking for help.

From our internal role description:

“A cloud platform engineer enables their fellow engineers to use and provide cloud services efficiently by providing guidance, infrastructure, templates, and auxiliary and shared services.”

As part of our cloud platform engineering team you’ll be providing the organization with the means to deploy, change and observe our cloud deployments. You’ll support our product teams with operational expertise. Managing, developing and maintaining our tools to support our cloud operations is the team’s main responsibility and we’re advocates for larger operational concerns in our product development.

You’ve worked with at least AWS or Azure, automation tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef, and infrastructure as code. You know about Containers and their orchestration and want to contribute to moving our organization to a Kubernetes-based development and deployment model. Bonus points if you’ve done some continuous delivery already. Working with tools like Terraform, Jenkins, Git, Python, you connect all the bits and pieces. You create something for the whole organization to benefit from (think self-service first). Hands-on experience with monitoring, metrics, logging or alerting is a plus.

Your Work Environment

You’ll join an international team of friendly, dynamic people who are passionate about their jobs. Our tech-stack includes various programming languages and common frameworks as well as GitLab, AWS, Kubernetes, and more if we need it.

Note: Due to Covid-19 interviewing, onboarding and work will be fully remote to begin with. We’re committed to make this process go as smoothly as possible under these difficult conditions and support you with getting set-up and going.

You can expect:
A flat, informal hierarchy and quick decision-making processes.
Support in getting up to speed.
Teammates of all ages and backgrounds.
A clear, concise company vision and mission together with a clearly defined set of company values.

But that’s not all! We also offer a family-friendly environment, flexible remote working options, sponsoring the monthly BVG ticket, Urban Sports Club membership, pension subsidy, and much more.

We strongly encourage diversity in our team and share a respectful and open mindset.
