We are looking for a driven Accounting Manager to join our fast-growing Global Accounting Team. You will be preparing our company for IFRS-reporting.

To be successful in this position, you should have a good grasp of accounting practices and strong organizational skills. An outstanding candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills and a knack for working with numbers.

This position is based in our headquarters in Berlin or remotely in Europe.

Some of What You’ll Do

    • Ensure accounting is recognized in accordance with IFRS & US GAAP and internal policies
    • Research accounting guidance and document Company's position on various revenue transactions
    • Perform revenue close activities: prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and quarterly disclosures
    • Prepare support for monthly close package and quarterly audit requests
    • Facilitate ad-hoc analysis and projects, as required
    • Maintain strong lines of communication and partnership cross-functionally to drive best practice in revenue

Required Skills/Experience

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance
    • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience, preferably as an audit assistant or financial accounting consultant in an auditing or accountancy firm and/or industry experience in the SaaS/software industry 
    • Proven track record of a successful IFRS migration from local GAAP
    • Comprehensive  knowledge of IFRS 15
    • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
    • A team player, adept at building relationships across the organization
    • Effective communicator able to convey and present information in a concise and well-organized manner
    • Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to work independently to meet challenging deadlines
    • Commitment to continuously seeking for opportunity to improve productivity and accuracy
    • Fluency in both, German and English, are mandatory
