The Executive Business Partner plays a pivotal role in the smooth operations of the San Diego site and in providing administrative support to the site Senior Leadership Team. In addition, this role will support the Human Resources function with duties to include ensuring confidential HR processes run efficiently, assisting with recruitment processes, compliance with company policies, maintaining accurate employee records and coordinating daily site and employee activities.

Responsibilities

    • Assists in the planning and support of both site employee events and site meetings.
    • Coordinates efforts in supporting onsite client visits.
    • Schedules, organizes and coordinates the activities for the Site Head and leadership team including business meetings, US travel arrangements, appointments and client visits.
    • Consistently maintains office equipment and orders site office supplies.
    • Assists Talent Acquisition by scheduling onsite and virtual interviews for the SD site.
    • Provides administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team with travel requirements, expenses and meetings.
    • Prepares documents, meeting agendas, meeting minutes, presentations, and spreadsheets.
    • May participate in resolving billing questions and managing invoices relating to senior management activities and site events.
    • Provides administrative HR support to include conducting employment verifications, job status change letters, etc.
    • Assists in administering employee programs to include employee referrals, tuition reimbursement, employee recognition, etc.
    • Participates as an effective and collaborative team player within the overall site team and in all aspects of Abzena's business.
    • Represents the company in a professional manner and upholds the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties.
    • Adheres to quality standards set by regulations and Abzena policies, procedures, and mission.
    • Works towards creating an engaging and positive organizational environment conducive to learning and employee development.
    • Communicates effectively and proactively with clients, supervisors, colleagues and staff.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

    • Demonstrated experience in MS Office including Word, Excel, and Power Point.
    • Strong organization, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills are a must!
    • High attention to detail and strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and willing to learn; is comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
    • Previous experience working in an office or administrative environment; previous experience working within an HR department.
    • Ability to shift priorities and deadlines, juggling multiple and varied projects simultaneously.
    • Respects and maintains confidentiality at all times.
$80,000 - $100,000 a year
