Senior Enterprise Sales Executive – United States (East Coast)

Expana is expanding its enterprise footprint across North America and we’re looking for a Senior Enterprise Sales Executive to accelerate that growth from the US East Coast. This is a high‑impact commercial role for someone who thrives in complex enterprise environments, builds strong senior‑level relationships, and delivers meaningful revenue outcomes.
You’ll lead enterprise sales activity across the region, working with major retailers, food manufacturers, commodity producers, and agricultural businesses. You’ll manage the full sales cycle, grow strategic accounts, and develop long‑term partnerships that position Expana as a trusted intelligence provider.
You’ll also collaborate closely with global colleagues across product, marketing, and customer success to ensure our commercial strategy reflects the needs of the North American market.
What You’ll Do
- Manage the full enterprise sales cycle from pipeline creation to negotiation and close.
- Pursue multi‑year enterprise contracts valued at $1M+ across key sectors.
- Lead complex, consultative sales processes involving multiple senior stakeholders.
- Develop account strategies that clearly demonstrate the value of Expana’s intelligence products.
- Maintain accurate pipeline management and forecasting using CRM tools.
C‑Suite & Executive Engagement
- Build strong relationships with senior decision‑makers across large enterprises.
- Deliver executive‑level presentations and business cases aligned to organisational priorities.
- Navigate multi‑stakeholder buying committees and internal decision processes.
- Represent Expana at relevant industry events and sector forums.
Account Management & Expansion
- Manage a portfolio of enterprise accounts to support retention and revenue growth.
- Identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities across Expana’s product suite, including platform subscriptions, Data Direct API, forecasting tools, and advisory services.
- Act as an executive sponsor for key accounts and support client adoption and value realisation.
- Partner with Customer Success to support onboarding and long‑term engagement.
Market Development & Collaboration
- Build sector knowledge across US retail, food manufacturing, commodity production, and agricultural supply chains.
- Collaborate with global go‑to‑market teams to align strategy and share market intelligence.
- Provide structured market feedback to product and marketing teams.
- Represent East Coast market needs in sales planning and territory development.
What You Bring
Experience & Qualifications
- Experience in enterprise B2B sales with a track record of closing seven‑figure deals in data (DaaS ideally), information services, market intelligence, or SaaS.
- Experience selling complex, high‑value solutions into large corporate enterprises.
- Experience engaging C‑suite executives and senior procurement or supply chain leaders.
- Experience managing and expanding enterprise accounts over multi‑year periods.
- Ability to operate autonomously within a remote or distributed organisation.
- Strong communication and presentation skills suitable for senior stakeholders.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Knowledge of commodity markets, financial data, or related sectors (preferred).
- Experience with Price Reporting Agencies or commodity data providers (preferred).
- Understanding of API‑delivered data products and enterprise integration use cases (preferred).
- Ability to build strong internal and external relationships.
- Ability to forecast accurately and apply data‑driven decision‑making.
- Ability to work effectively in complex sales environments involving multiple stakeholders.
